Natural Selection @ Tokyo Bar, Sunday 20th November
Posted by on November 10, 2011
In the words of the great MC Stompin ‘Arr fucking yessa’
Were back with lushness on the 20th. Funky music for snobby pretentious wankers like us
Also, the Give E.P has dropped. There’s also a 12″ release

Also check the showcase mix from Lucid Directions and myself

Very quick one here, getting my burn on in Rhodes
Firstly, the launch night for Lively Up was lush. Nice atmosphere, nice to play some NS freshies and some 170 bpm bits
Any-furkin-ho here’s some more NS amongst other North East bits courtesy of Tom Robinson and Bob Allan
Beiro – Flowers are Burning

Eeee hiyaaz
As promised yesterday was smashing, despite an early shut down at Free Trade from the filth
Got an amazing request to: “You got anything a bit more ykna… bidibababo…?” Best since Joey Barton’s entourage try to buy us out for a few shan indie tunes. I’d like to say we stuck by our guns, but we frantically scoured our CDs for something sufficiently cack. Testitment to our moral stance.. much like Joey’s whole ethos
Anyways.. Beiro (aka Mark Shaftoe), has just dropped a blinding three track e.p today
Top draw 130-ish bpm shufflers fit for a king. Title track is the one for me, lush lush

PS. Next event is this Thursday @ WHQ – Lively Up Launch
